A Magical Night in the Heart of Patagonia

Spirit of the Glaciers is a unique luxury expedition in Los Glaciares National Park. Aboard the Santa Cruz cruise, you’ll experience a magical night surrounded by nature, with luxury cabins, gourmet cuisine, exclusive service, and the company of a bilingual guide.

The program includes full board with drinks, free Wi-Fi, and access to spaces such as the restaurant, bar, library, lounge, and terraces with views of the ice and Patagonian forests. An experience designed to deeply connect with Patagonia without sacrificing comfort.

Aboard our vessel, you’ll feel safe and comfortable as you venture out into the vast Lago Argentino and enjoy the tranquility of the natural nighttime surroundings within Los Glaciares National Park.

The Spirit of the Glaciers is a two-day, one-night experience (starting at 10:00 AM on day 1 and ending at 4:00 PM on day 2) with fixed departures every Thursday and Sunday from November to March.
The adventure begins at Puerto La Soledad, Bahía Tranquila (Punta Bandera area), 45 kilometers from El Calafate, at 10:00 AM, boarding the exclusive Santa Cruz Cruise.
This experience is not suitable for children under 5 years old, nor for people with reduced mobility, as there are stairs to access the ship’s decks.

Our Journey

Day 1 - North Arm - Departures Thursday or Sunday

10:00 AM: Departure from Puerto La Soledad. Start of the voyage towards the North Arm of Lake Argentino. Welcome reception on board
Upsala Canal: Canal navigation with panoramic views.
Spegazzini Glacier & Lunch: Visit and stop in front of the imposing Spegazzini Glacier. Lunch will be served on board, offering an unparalleled dining experience.
Las Vacas Bay - Landing and Exploration: Landing for a hike. The tour includes a visit to the historic Las Vacas Post and ends at the Spegazzini Lookout, with breathtaking views of the Spegazzini, Peineta, and Mayo glaciers.
Toro Bay: Sailing towards Toro Bay. Departure and arrival for overnight stay.
Dinner: A gourmet multi-course dinner will be served on board.
24:00 hs: Bar closes and day's activities end.

Day 2 - Seno Mayo & Canal Tempanos - Return Friday or Monday

Breakfast: Start your day with a full breakfast on board, surrounded by the stunning scenery of Toro Bay.
Bahía Toro - Landing and Walk: Landing for an interpretive walk along the coast of the bay and the Patagonian forest, until reaching a beautiful waterfall.
Navigation to the Perito Moreno Glacier: Boarding and navigation to the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Puerto Moreno - Landing and Walkways: Disembark at Puerto Moreno to explore the extensive walkway system of the National Park. Free time to walk along the different circuits and observe the glacier from multiple perspectives.
Lunch: Return to the cruise ship and lunch in front of the imposing north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
Return Navigation: Return on board for the final navigation back to port.
4:00 PM: Arrival and disembarkation at Puerto La Soledad. End of services.

Our Cabins

All cabins are double, with an exterior view and a private bathroom. A third bed is not available. The difference between cabin categories is based on the size and location of the cabin:

Deluxe Cabins: Located on the first and second decks, on the sides of the boat. They measure 12 m².
Premium cabins: Located at the front of the first and second decks. 17 m² in area.
Grand Suite: Located at the rear of the second deck, it features a private balcony and measures 23 m².
